He has spent his life protecting our nation and our community. He served for 10-years in the US Air Force, and 30 years as a Deputy and then Sheriff of the largest law enforcement organization in the nation.

Service runs deep in his family. His wife and son also serve in law enforcement here in LA.  Putting their lives on the line was just something they do every day.

That’s why he could not stand on the sidelines while the Board of Supervisors allowed crime and homelessness to take over.
